Hello. We debated putting a privacy policy up because the interwebs tend to steal these things. But since it’s kind of a big deal in California and since we know some of you may be from there we decided to put one up to keep you informed. Plus it pushes up our SEO ranking…
Either way, here is our Privacy Policy. We will discuss several things in this Privacy Policy, specifically the types of information we collect (not much) and what we do with it (again not much). We don’t sell your information, but we do transfer your information in the event we cannot assist you and we feel another attorney may be better suited to handle your case. We also collect basic information via our information form (it’s that little box on the right side of the front page). The only information we’ll collect from you is your email, name, and phone number since it would be impossible to contact you otherwise. This information is used to set up an appointment and to store in our client list to check for future conflicts. If you do something really bad we may be forced to release your information to the government, but we’ll do our best not to. That’s it…..for now at least. If we ever change our minds we’ll discuss it with you in the future.
Also, not to be super obvious but if you’re in a different country your information is going to be transferred to us and vice versa. Also, we don’t store this info in our Apple Macintosh from the 1980s….rather it’s stored in some fancy server here in the U.S. So, to get to the point you agree that we have permission to transfer this information and that you realize this information is going across borders.
Your Age
We ask that you be over 18 when submitting any information to us. As much as we love teenagers they don’t tend be very good at paying their bills.
Routine Information Collection
All web servers track basic information about their visitors. This information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and referring pages. None of this information can personally identify specific visitors to this site. The information is tracked for routine administration and maintenance purposes. Any policies regarding Google Analytics can be found at their website.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Cookies…unlike the real ones they’re kind of lame. Cookies are tiny bits of code or data that store information about you when you visit our Site. We uses cookies to store information about a visitor’s preferences and history in order to better serve the visitor and/or present the visitor with customized content.
Controlling Your Privacy
Note that you can change your browser settings to disable cookies if you have privacy concerns. Disabling cookies for all sites is not recommended as it may interfere with your use of some sites. The best option is to disable or enable cookies on a per-site basis. Consult your browser or ask Google if you have questions on hot to do this. Additionally, if you want us to delete any of the information you have submitted just ask us, we’ll be happy to oblige.
Third Party Links
We may have links to third parties (like our awesome clients for example) on the Site. These Sites should have Privacy Policies that govern their relationship with you (if not, thats probably not kosher). Please read their Privacy Policies carefully. Although we can control what’s on our website, unfortunately we can’t control what’s on someone else’s website, so click with caution.
Security
We’ll do our best to protect your information but as this is the Internet sometimes that can be really hard so we can’t make any double pinkie swear super guarantees.
